As head of Cirrus Financial Communications, Justin's primary focus is corporate marketing and strategic direction, though he is actively involved in all facets of the business. Justin joined Cirrus (then AMS) in 2005 as a brand manager. While under his direction, both Puda Coal (OTC BB: PUDC) and Benda Pharmaceutical (OTC BB: BPMA) achieved sustained 300%+ increases in market cap, while AeroGrow International (NASDAQ: AERO) attained a NASDAQ listing upgrade only six months after becoming publicly traded.
Prior to joining AMS, Justin was the National Park Service's first business management consultant. He created financial turnaround plans for 18 national parks, including crown jewels Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Glacier and Denali. The activities-based accounting system on which he collaborated with national leadership has now been implemented Service-wide.
Justin began his marketing career as a consumer marketing manager for ServiceMagic.com, helping grow the business to the eventual point of acquisition by IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI). Justin launched ServiceMagic's comprehensive Internet marketing efforts, successfully managing search result and banner ad campaigns in the Web advertising medium's infancy. Through his two electronic newsletter products, Justin helped increase distribution list subscriptions from 15,000 to over 500,000 in one year, and personally drove more than 20,000 consumer orders.
Justin was formerly a program director for a major private foundation and remains actively involved with Denver-area nonprofits.
Justin graduated in 2004 from the University of Virginia (Darden) with an M.B.A., Marketing Emphasis, and earned a B.A. in Economics in 1998 from Vanderbilt University.
